Design Architect (12.13.07)
We are seeking Design Architects with 6-10 years of experience to join our growing team in our Architecture and Community Design Studio in SAN FRANCISCO, CA. Commercial or Institutional project design and technical experience is preferred. Strong leadership, organization, and well-developed graphic and written communication skills are essential. Working knowledge of AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D digital modeling preferred. Candidates must have a passion for learning and innovative thinking, a great attitude, and flexibility to work in a collaborative environment. Land Planner/Urban Designer (07.20.07)
William McDonough + Partners, internationally recognized leaders in sustainable design, are seeking Land Planners and/or Urban Designers with experience ranging from 1 to 5 years in the design and production of large-scale development projects to join our Community Design Studio in CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. We approach sustainable design and planning through a conceptualization process that combines knowledge of site systems with planning and urban design strategies. Our portfolio includes an array of national and international projects with ambitious environmental and design agendas. The ideal candidate will have joint-degrees in architecture and planning or urban design. Design excellence and well-developed graphic communication skills are essential.
Architectural Interns
William McDonough + Partners is currently seeking Architectural Interns. The positions are open to recent architecture school graduates and students currently in their final year of architecture school. Candidates will gain valuable experience by working with project teams in the conceptual, schematic design, and design development phases. Proficient knowledge of AutoCad, FormZ, PhotoShop and InDesign are essential.
